Debra George holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Printmaking Arts from Rockford College in Rockford, Illinois, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Interior Design from the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington.

After graduating from the University of Washington, Debra stayed in Seattle and spent many years working in Commercial Design firms and traveling for projects. Some of these include:

• Military Facilities - NORAD Headquarters in Anchorage, Alaska and Clear Radar Station Campus in Clear, Alaska
• Medical & Dietary Facilities - Stanford University Hospital, and University of Washington Teaching Hospital for which she received award recognition for Design Excellence from Restaurant & Hotel Magazine
• A Whole City Study - project land acquisitions, construction locations, and building sizes for the City of Everett in Washington was accomplished to help this city plan how to meet their Infrastructure & Facilities needs for an imminent 15 year explosive population growth period
• Professional Offices - Princess Tours cruise company and Global Financial, an investment firm
• Store Planning for The Bon Marche’, of the Allied Stores Consortium, and several ZCMI department store locations
• Restaurant and Hospitality - Time Share Condominiums for Vacation Internationale on the West Coast and throughout the Hawaiian Islands and Mexico, as well as Kitchen and Food Service design for the 100’ level Restaurant at the Space Needle and other Seattle Restaurants

In 1992, Debra turned in her suits and pumps and moved to Florida to be near her elders. Debra worked in design studios and stores in Southwest Florida. Then, she decided to strike out on her own. She began her studies of Feng Shui at that time.

Debra is a Practitioner of Feng Shui, the ancient Chinese Art of the Power of Placement of objects and symbols in environments. She utilizes her Feng Shui knowledge as an integral part of the interior design process, melding the elements of today’s architectural challenges with the harmony of beautiful working solutions.

Debra presently enjoys working on very creative projects in Private Residences and Boats, Investment & Rental Vacation Condominiums and Homes in Fort Myers, Sanibel Island, Naples, Bonita Beach, Estero, Cape Coral and the Southern Florida region. Out of area projects are also readily accepted.
